About Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL): HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb) is the world’s first neurologically controlled Wearable Cyborg, by which a wearer’s physical functions can be improved, supported, enhanced and regenerated. HAL Lower Limb Type is a medical device, obtaining CE Marking, in the EU for patients of Musculoskeletal Ambulation Disability Symptom Complex [=MADS], such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, cerebrovascular diseases and other diseases of the brain and neuromuscular systems.

Key Accountabilities: • Develop and support businesses primarily in the UK but also other countries in Europe through actively identifying prospective businesses and understanding their business model and needs for specific monetization services. • Develop relations with various constituencies of our business including patients and family, academic community, medical association, governmental officials and payers, and medical device professionals. • Supporting the sales process: from lead generation to signing agreements: negotiations, closing deals and assisting the account management team. • Present the company to potential clients through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, calling and e-mails. • Representing the company at industry events and tradeshows with the intention of gaining new business leads and contacts. • Create and be accountable for client proposals, contracts and any further documentation. • Keeping updated on market trends and issues affecting the robotics and medical exoskeleton industry as well as collecting competitor intelligence. • Partake in adhoc marketing activities in order to increase the company's visibility in current and expanding markets. • Take initiative and strive to make a noticeable contribution to the company.

Basic Qualifications: • Therapy background is strongly welcome including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sport science, or similar fields. • It is a plus having sales experiences in relevant industry but not a must. • Outstanding communication, influencing negotiation and presentation skills. • Native English skills. • Willing to travel.

Cyberdyne Inc. has received a confirmation from Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss (German highest regulatory authority on medical devices and drugs. In UK, NICE has relevant responsibility.) for sufficient potential for clinical trial according to § 137e SGB V for the method "neuromuscular feedback therapy” using our HAL system for the treatment of paraplegic patients. It is quite exciting moment in the history of the company to develop further clinical evidence that HAL therapy may be available under the Statutory Health Insurance.
