On January 12, 2024, the first Cybernics & Neurobionics Summit will take place in Hannover?

HCNS 2024 is a one-day international summit featuring leading pioneers and experts from around the world, aiming to present groundbreaking and transdisciplinary solutions in the field of Cybernics and Neurobionics for researchers, clinicians, and the industry.

Dr. Amir Samii, Vice President of the International Neuroscience Institute (INI) Hannover, and also Vice President of INI China, as well as a Professor of Neurosurgery at the Hannover Medical School, will give a warm welcome and an introduction to the field of Cybernics and Neurobionics.

Dr. Madjid Samii, President of INI Hannover and INI China, as well as INI Iran, is considered a pioneer in modern micro-neurosurgery and will provide a new perspective on the topic in his presentation titled "The Hannover Perspective."

Yoshiyuki Sankai, CEO of Cyberdyne Inc. in Japan, will deliver an exciting presentation on innovations in the field of cybernics and participate in a subsequent panel discussion. Sankai made groundbreaking contributions to the field of cybernics through the world's first wearable cyborg HAL, which involves the fusion of humans, robots, and information systems.

Prof. Dr. Schildhauer, Director of the Surgical University Clinic and Polyclinic at Bergmannsheil Bochum, will share his experiences with robot-assisted rehabilitation for spinal cord injuries in an engaging presentation.
