HAL Lower Limb
device has been successfully researched, approved, and implemented worldwide. Building on this foundation, we have carefullyredeveloped and optimized the system as the HAL 2S
, designed specifically to meet the needs of children and smaller-sized individuals. At CYBERDYNE, we believe that
every child deserves access to the most advanced rehabilitation technology
. With the HAL 2S, our goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where this belief becomes reality.Who is HAL 2S for?
The HAL 2S is designed to support rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions, including:
Spinal Cord Injury
Cerebral Palsy
Multiple Sclerosis
Traumatic Brain Injury
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) …and many others.
How does HAL work?
When a person intends to move, the brain sends signals through the nervous system to the target muscles. In some individuals, these pathways are weakened, damaged, or disrupted due to illness, injury, or neurological dysfunction.
HAL can detect these faint bioelectric signals on the surface of the skin.
Once the system recognizes the wearer’s intention to move, its motors are activated to support and amplify the movement. This creates apositive feedback loop
, which can help to reinforce, and in some cases even restore, neural pathways.
