At

REHACARE 2025 – International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care in Düsseldorf

, CYBERDYNE proudly unveiled its newest innovation: the

small-size HAL (for Child)

model. This milestone marks a bold step in making our Cybernics Technology accessible to a broader range of patients worldwide.

Until now, children were often unable to benefit from our HAL-based Cybernics Treatment due to size limitations. With the launch of HAL “for Child,” designed specifically for patients measuring

100–150 cm in height

, these young patients can now access the same opportunities as adults.

As our Sales Manager Read Abo Facher emphasized in the interview:

“Children who were excluded before due to size constraints can now receive Cybernics Treatment.”

Certified and Ready for the World

The new HAL (for Child) has achieved key regulatory milestones:

  • Approved in Japan

    – 31 January 2025

  • Cleared by the U.S. FDA

    – May 2024

  • CE-marked in the EU

    – December 2024

With these approvals, HAL “for Child” is set to support recovery programs worldwide. Importantly, the device is

strictly intended for clinical use

, not long-term continuous wear. Treatment courses typically include

30–60 sessions

, guided by professionals such as

physical therapists.

We are delighted that CYBERDYNE and the small-size HAL have been featured in the MedicalExpo e-Magazine. For more details, you can read the full article here:
